All right, so… a… the first qustion is ask about discreet, in fact we are going to chinese edition of 3DS MAX 7, what I feel about that? Chinese heard 3DS MAX 7 is could be really powerful, I think we enable a lot education on use and let students get in to MAX early. It’s really important that people have good experience to get into 3D. And being able to do that, the language is main question we can know this year. Something about first question, learning this tool first, learning on top of that will be very very important. And even within game studio and film studio I think just be a lot easyer for people working in thire language in general. The last thing is I think is important to know that Discreet is one company that will into do this. we are very graspable with local position all around world. We feel that is very important.
可以开始说了吗?(旁:好的)好的,我们开始吧。第一个问题是问关于Discreet公司的,我们马上就要发行3DS MAX 7的中文版本,我个人的看法?很多中国用户应该已经了解MAX 7的功能是非常强大的,此前我们有过针对学生的教学版本。对于开始接触3D领域的人们来说这是获得经验的重要而且良好的途径。在做到这样之前,语言对现今来说也是一个重要的问题。关于第一个问题……学习这个工具,首先,熟练的掌握是非常非常重要的。甚至在游戏工作室和电影工作室中,普遍来说我认为人们用自己的语言工作还是会容易的多。 最后,我认为比较重要去了解的是Discreet作为一个关注于此的公司。我们非常明确我们在全世界每一个地区的地域位置(理解和进入该地域的文化)。我们很看重这一点,这是非常重要的。
Second questionis asking what’s makes score to excellent game make? What kinds of skill and stuff they need? We in general answer this question, first is define someone as a nice game player actually, I find a best game maker who is a people play about games, love games, living in games, breathe of games. When I interview people, one of my first question to them is what’s games they play and I want answer is more than just video games. But, about skills, I think a artist important to have some classical art training to be able to do, things is not just digital 3D, painting and pancil skills is all really important. For programmer is very well, you know. When we going to every individual display can be just about games, maybe out side of games. That will be helpful.
第二个问题问的是对于优秀游戏制作人的评判标准,什么样的技能和素质是他们最需要掌握的。我们按通常的情况来回答这个问题。首先定义一个人是不是一个好的游戏人,我发现一个好的游戏制作者一定是玩一切和游戏有关的娱乐活动,热爱游戏,生活在游戏里,用游戏呼吸。当我们面试雇员的时候,我们通常问的第一个问题就是他们玩的都是什么游戏,当然我希望得到的答案不光是局限在电视游戏的范围。但是,关于技术,我认为一个艺术家非常重要的一点是要具备一定的传统艺术训练而且要有能力进行传统艺术的工作,不仅仅是会运用数字的3D技术,油画和素描的技术也是非常重要的。对于程序人员也是这样,你了解的。 当我们进行每一个个人展示的时候可以仅仅关于游戏,也可以是有关游戏以外的东西,那些东西对我们帮助也很大。
Third question is asking about game department, how they are in collages and do I think game makers can be produce in this way. I thinks answer is yes, depends on the actual, instructers really know what is come done to (some noise) (I just keep on?) ok, so If you can get any instructer but acturlly has work in game studio understand the games and lives and breath games that could be a best way, so the answer is between both , in the school I can get the requirement I seen it in the lot of collage, but offer a degrees in vedio game design now, I think that will build an industry.
第三个问题关于游戏的(培训)机构,他们为什么在学院里(包括怎样运作),我是否认为这样培养游戏人是恰当的。我觉得答案应该是是的,从目前来看,教育者知道什么应该怎样去做,(一些杂音)(我可以继续吗?)好的,如果你可以从一些在游戏工作室工作并且理解游戏,热爱和依靠游戏生存的教育者身上学习,那可以说是最好的学习途径了。答案也是两面的,在学校里我可以得到需要的(设备),我在很多院校看到(那些设备),不过也有仅仅是赋予电视游戏制作文凭和学位的。(不过)我觉得那依然可以构建起整个产业。
Fourth question is asking about the inconsistent between the game design department and art department. That’s meaning the difference between the artist and programmer is possiblely (ask the means of a word~) o, ok, I just try to understand, actually did mean the complex… o, game design artist, so, the game design’s balance~ you know it’s intresting if you look game design, like creative a piece of art, we have 40 or 50 people. so every one is realise they are going to come in the door and it’s best have set folds for the door, so the programmer can help the artist find what folds artist should be used and the artist can help progammer find the fold should be. Get the everyone can look that and make sure you get the one department. It’s something depend on experience, patience, producer should be able to help get you there. It really to takes time and experience. You know, a basicly nothing was secret, you know you can flam anyone for anywork they were doing whether was artist or programmer whatever if you within better come in good of the whole project.

What do I think the most powerful and tract express the factor in 3D game, which is my favorite 3D game and what I think is need mostly. Posonal I love 3D game that get in photo view but I even prefer to that game that have really intresting artist work, just we creating reality is not exciting as taken intresting twist some reality. So, let we into my favorite game right now, I play a lot of halo two and I play a lot of world of war craft, I play a lot of speed in underground… I love any games that is, you know, high quality and top in the street, that really engage me. I say the world of war craft, I think is very much styles, very much catoon and very much sound place. ( Have you paly a rainbow roses?) No, I see it ago, I want to play and I saw it TGA, I saw it is very good, you know it about… I mean it is about little bit my own posonal artist, I always to do. I mean that is really My love, I intresting things more than I can do.
