首先，这里的 RP 不是什么“人品“。
RP 就是Role playing，译为“角色扮演”。关于这个词语的解释，为了让大家更清楚地了解，我从WOW的官方论坛作了一些摘抄。
What is Role-Playing? (RP)
-Role Playing is when you act out a specific character In-Game or in a Role-Playing thread. Basically you are writing the responses of a character in an unscripted story.
什么是角色扮演（RP）？
-角色扮演就是指你要在游戏中或是在一个角色扮演事件（Role-Playing thread，不知道该不该这么翻译）中扮演一个明确的人物。基本上来说，你是在扮演一部没有剧本的故事之中的角色。
What is the difference between a PvE server and RP server?
-A PvE server is one in which you simply play the game as a game, leveling and looking for loot. An RP server is different only in the fact that you are required to Role-Play as your character. If you are caught going Out-Of-Character too often and in the wrong ways you can, and probably will be reported for it.
The game mechanics, however, are the exact same for these two servers.
RP服务器与PVE服务器的区别是什么？
-PVE服务器就是你仅仅是简单的帮一个游戏当作游戏来玩，升你的级，收你的宝。RP服务器与之的区别仅仅在于你需要去扮演你游戏中的那个角色。如果被人发现你是经常做一些超出你角色的错误的行为（我想这些行为大概就是吼什么“TL8人，来D和SM”之类的本不应该在真正的魔兽世界里出现的台词或是行为），那么你将很有可能因此而被举报。
但是从服务器物理及软件层面上来讲，这两种服务器是完全相同的。
What does OOC stand for?
-OOC stands for Out of Character. If something happens in which you need to leave the game or if you want to explain something to someone, this is the way you do it. It can be displayed in several forms.
-OOC: I have to go to the bathroom.
-it is easily recognizable as OOC. In the game, you should probibly use OOC talk in /party or in a whisper, as people tend to get ticked when they see it in /say.
什么叫做OOC？
OOC就是Out of Character，即角色之外的行为。比如说你有事要下线的话，然后你要向你周围的人解释，那么你可能会说：
“对不起，我要去睡觉了。”
这样的说法我们便可以认为是OOC。在游戏中，这样的OOC语言最好是在小队（/p）或是私聊（/w）中出现，因为如果你大声说出来（/s）的话会让周围的人觉得很不爽。
So what is IC then?
-IC stands for In Character. Basicly whenever you are role-playing you are In Character. It is a good thing to note that when a person acts like a jerk or starts flirting with you, it may have nothing to do with the actual person behind the avatar, just how the character would act. It is wise not to become offended by anything someone does In Character.
那么什么叫做IC？
IC就是In Character，即角色应该做的行为。基本上来讲当你在游戏之中的时候你就应该保持这样的行为。记下那些故意扮演得像傻瓜或是与你打闹的人是件很好的事情，这些行为可能与那个角色身后的玩家本身并没有关系，是这些角色本身作出了这些行为。所以无论别的角色做了什么，你都最好不要生气。
