从帧缓存读到内存速度有多快？

我有个FX5201280的显卡。内存是256的？然后我系统内存是256的。考虑能不能把显存当内存用。写的速度还可以，但是不知道读的速度怎样？

性能可能比较差，毕竟显存的数据要送到CPU寄存器估计得翻过好几座大山。。。

不过当作存储数据的区域倒是可以尝试开拓。我以前也考虑过用显存来当常规存储器使用，只是后来发现显存用于常规计算需要花费更大代价来进行数据存储，性价比并不高。

显卡内存太大，导致有人提出这样的问题！

以前人们都是“用系统内存来替代显存”，现在倒好，
显卡越来越牛 B 了！都 TM 128M， 256M 的了！
跟 TM 以前的系统内存一个等级了！
都开始提出这样的问题了！

在现有的硬件架构下做到没有问题，可是效率呢？
楼上的，凡是跑有GUI的OS的系统，显存本来就应该和内存一个等级。

系统内存，可以说是 “大锅饭”，大家都可以分，OK。

不过显存，专门针对图象渲染而准备的内存，反过来调给系统当 “大锅饭” 用...
