前半句为“Genius is one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration.”没有争议。
后半句则不知是哪来的。
至于“Accordingly, a genius is often merely a talented person who has done all of his or her homework.”其中“Accordingly”翻译过来为“相应地”、“因此”，没有转折意义。所以我认为，前一句在强调汗水（努力）的重要性（99%），那么后一句至少不会反其道而行（要知道“努力”与“灵感”并非反义词，强调“努力”并不代表对“灵感”的贬低）。
乱译以下后一句：天才=有天赋+把他/她该做的工作全搞定。
