没有人在中国喜欢D3D12？

我使用的，因为在我的业余时间8.0 Direct3D的编程，但我从来没有一个游戏程序员。我在4年前迁移到海外，我仍然喜欢在下班后最新D3D/着色器技术进行编程。

最近，我浏览像CSDN或者我用很多年前参观gameres在中国的相关技术论坛。是什么让我失望主义不同于西方的论坛，如gamedev.net，几乎没有中国的开发商都在谈论低水平尖端技术等D3d12，但所有有关使用的游戏引擎。

那是因为中国人往往是功利的，而不是热衷于技术？

对不起，我没有在这里安装了中国的输入法，所以只使用谷歌翻译...


Nobody in China likes D3D12?

I used to program with Direct3D since 8.0 in my spare time, though I've never been a game programmer. I migrated to overseas 4 years ago and I still like to program with latest D3D/shader technology after work.

Recently I browsed relevant tech forum in China like CSDN or gameres which I used to visit many years ago. What disappointed me ism unlike western forums such as gamedev.net, almost no Chinese developers are talking about low level cutting-edge tech such D3d12, but all about the use of game engines.

Is that because Chinese people tend to be utilitarian rather than enthusiastic on technology?

Sorry I haven't installed chinese input method here, so just use google translate...

我觉得功利这个词用的非常好。但是造成这个的原因却非常多。我说说自己的经历：我13年在学校时开发了一款游戏。毕业后一心想做一个游戏策划，我在公司呆了差不多两年。然后出来创业，花光了所有的积蓄。现在我27岁我面临的是朋友的借款，父母的结婚要求，高额的房租。如果考虑结婚还要考虑结婚的花销和房子。以上这些都需要我以赚钱为目的做事。虽然我还是喜欢捣鼓各种游戏引擎但是我的动机已经不是当初的兴趣而是功利。所以我更喜欢把时间花在使用上。

中国developer当然有了啊，我就是。 只不过不是很多罢了。游戏引擎行业人本来就少。不过要指出一点的是国内没有好的技术论坛是真的。对行业不了解就不要乱假设了。

Well, sad to hear your experience, from a view of a tech geek, though not everyone should aim for a career life in tech. I had taken part in this forum as early as 2004, when we were still discussing the low-level graphics stuff. Things changed so much.

China often give a impression that it's becoming rich, it might be true, however we can only find those successful instances of Jack Ma or Xiaomi, never on the core tech at all.

And we all know who really benefit from that kind of "economic growth".

To be honest, if I were required to live in China, I prefer the China in the past (like 1990s), I don't think it's been "developed".

I may not aware of the situation in China, but it's still hot and more common to see developers working on the cutting-edge graphics tech like tesselation/ComputeShader/Tiled texture/conservative rasterazor, which is the reason why I posted this topic here.

目标不一样而已，可以承担的内容不一样。举个例子，2个肥皂厂，都有一个问题：不知道生产线上打包好的肥皂盒子里面是否包含肥皂，一个有钱，一个没钱，没钱的生产线上放个大功率的电风扇使劲的吹，有钱的花了几千万研制了机器人自动识别。都是办法，合适自己就好，看自己能承担多少

It's been even worsened compared to time in 2000s. Meanwhile, outstanding Chinese guys with ambition on science/tech are moving to countries like the US.

Well, that's the future of this country~~~
